Refund Policy

Version 1.3 · Effective 19 October 2026

Not reviewed by a lawyer. We wrote this text ourselves and keep it true to what the site does; no lawyer has checked it.

The practice pack is digital content: your account gets access to the paid blocks right after payment. That is why purchases are final once access is given, except where the law gives you the right to a refund.

A test purchase ("test mode", only in a test copy of the site) takes no money, so there is nothing to refund.

1. The rule

Before you pay, try the free block: it shows how the lessons, cases and feedback work. Once your account has access to the paid blocks, we do not refund the purchase because you changed your mind, except in the cases below.

2. When you get a refund

  • You were charged by mistake, for example twice for the same pack: we refund the extra payment. A second payment of the same pack is refunded in full automatically, without you asking; your access stays, and we e-mail you when it is done. If the payment provider cannot make the refund at once (for example, while it still holds a new payment), we keep asking it, and if it still does not go through, we refund it by hand.
  • The paid blocks do not work or are not as described and we cannot fix it in reasonable time: we refund the purchase.
  • You are a consumer in the EU or the UK. You normally have 14 days to withdraw from a purchase of digital content. Before you pay on Ownwise, you tick a box to ask for access right away and to confirm that you lose this right once access starts, and after the payment we e-mail you a confirmation of that choice. So once your access has started, the 14 days no longer apply. If you did not tick that box or did not get our confirmation e-mail, you can withdraw within 14 days of the purchase and get a full refund.
  • The law of your country gives you other rights: those rights apply. This policy does not limit them.

Dodo Payments sells the pack to you as our reseller (merchant of record). Under its Buyer Terms it can also decide on a refund itself. If it refunds you, that refund stands.

3. How to ask

Write to ownwisecreator@gmail.com from the e-mail address of your account. Say when you bought the pack (the order number is in the confirmation e-mail and in your profile) and why you ask for a refund. We answer within 14 days. If the refund is due, we ask Dodo Payments to make it. You can also contact Dodo Payments directly: its contact details are on its website and in the receipt it sends you.

Please talk to us or to Dodo Payments before you dispute a payment with your bank. If your bank takes the payment back, the paid blocks close in your account.

Sales tax: if you bought for a business and have a valid tax number, Dodo Payments may refund the sales tax it charged if you contact it within 60 days of the purchase (its Buyer Terms). Such a partial refund does not close the blocks.

4. After a refund

The amount you paid goes back to the payment method you used (Dodo Payments makes the refund). The paid blocks close again in your account, and we e-mail you about it; your progress, notes and numbers stay, and the free blocks stay open.

No ads and no third-party tracking. We count a few events on this site's own server, such as a block started or finished, to see how the course is used; without an account they carry no name or id.
